Becoming Succession Ready

Delegates at the 5th annual Succession Planning Conference learned how to best prepare a succession plan

As the Baby Boom generation is reaching retirement age, many are looking to Generation X for potential successors. But, according to Statistics Canada, GenX is a relatively small population of only 2.8 million people. One of the myriad of challenges Boomers face, therefore, is a shrinking candidate pool to choose from. In the face of this, the demand for informative, practical succession planning advice has perhaps never been greater.

Delegates at this year’s Canadian Insurance Top Broker Succession Planning Conference learned how to combat succession challenges and create the best possible plan. The event took place October 11, 2012, at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
