Willis Towers Watson to join S&P 500

The new company will trade under the ticker symbol WLTW

Post-merger, Willis and Towers Watson will join the S&P 500, replacing clothing and jewelry company Fossil.

The change will occur after the close of trading on Monday, January 4.

The new company will trade under the ticker symbol WLTW.

Fossil, which S&P Dow Jones Indices say “has a market capitalization that is more representative of the mid-cap market space,” will replace Towers Watson in the S&P MidCap 400.
