
MPI’s eGlassClaim Streamlines Repairs
Online tool puts facilities in control, says MPI.

The system, eGlassClaim, allows repair shops to initiate claims on a customer’s behalf, links to MPI’s Autopac Online and Claims Automated Reporting System. Once a customer calls in a repair, it will automatically validate coverage, list glass replacement options and submit an invoice to MPI when the repairs are complete.
The tool is expected to save processing time, cut down on paperwork, and clarify payment approvals.
“The direct relationship between the repair facility and the customer will allow the repair facility to have better control of the claim in order to provide the highest level of customer service,” according to an MPI bulletin to repair facilities.
Over 170 partners have signed onto the service, according to an August 26 MPI notice.
