More service options for brokers

Applied Systems and Artizan integration allows insureds to access policy information online.

The integration of Artizan Internet Services’ CSR24 with Applied Systems’ TAM allows Canadian brokers to offer additional services to their clients. With CSR24, brokers can offer customers on-demand, self-service access to their policy information and most insurance forms. Insureds are also given access additional documents stored on a broker management system (BMS) and document imaging system.

“Commercial policyholders, in particular, put a high value on being able to secure certificates on demand, and they appreciate brokers who can offer that service,” said Richard Roy, president of Artizan Internet Services. “CSR24 allows TAM brokers to offer the convenience of 24/7 service to all of their policyholders, knowing that the total solution creates operational efficiencies for the brokerage.”

According to Applied Systems, brokers have been waiting for CSR24 so they can offer insureds broker-branded, online customer service. Brokers believe the self-service model, combined with independent brokers’ personal advisory services, enhances their competitive edge, stated a media release.
