IBAC on the lookout for award-worthy P&C professionals

The organization is seeking nominations for the Dale Rempel Award of Excellence

The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is accepting nominations for the 2017 Dale Rempel Award of Excellence, which recognizes individuals who are actively involved in the professional development of P&C insurance brokers.

Only the IBAC and its member associations are eligible to make nominations, but individuals are encouraged to suggest candidates to any IBAC member association for them to consider putting forward. Nominees must demonstrate commitment to the education and lifelong learning for Canadians working in the P&C insurance industry.

The award, which was introduced in 2014, honours the late Dale Rempel, who served as president of the IBAC from 2011 to 2012. Winners are selected by a panel of IBAC board governors, practicing brokers and the insurance industry press. It is presented each fall at the IBAC’s president’s banquet. Past award recipients include Rodney Hancock, Bryan Yetman, and Tara Chammartin.

Nominations must meet submission requirements and be received by the IBAC by July 11.
