Quebec drivers with fuel-efficient vehicles are offered a 10% discount on their auto insurance policies.

In order to be eligible, vehicles must meet fuel-efficiency criteria based on the Fuel Consumption Guide published by National Resources Canada. Owners of fuel-efficient vehicles who are already insured will automatically get the discount upon renewal.
Additionally, drivers of hybrid vehicles who currently benefit from a 10% savings on their insurance premiums will now be eligible for a 15% green discount at Desjardins General Insurance.
