Chubb appoints North American management liability EVP

Leigh Anne Sherman will be responsible for the team that handles D&O liability and employment practices liability among other products

Chubb has named Leigh Anne Sherman its new executive vice president of private/not-for-profit management liability business within the North America financial lines division.

She will be responsible for leading the insurer’s retail private/not-for-profit management liability business, which provides directors & officers (D&O) liability, fiduciary liability, employment practices liability, workplace violence, crime and kidnap & ransom insurance products.

In the new role, Sherman will continue to provide oversight for the underwriting service branch, which provides new and renewal underwriting and services for eligible management liability product offerings in the U.S. She has been with Chubb since 1997 in various leadership roles.

“I’m confident that her leadership skills and knowledge of broker, agent and client priorities will complement Chubb’s underwriting team as we continue to build out our offerings to meet the evolving risks and exposures of private and not-for-profit organizations,” says Scott Meyer, Chubb’s division president of North America financial lines, in a press release.
