Bulletin: Alberta Insurance Council Backs Awards
The Alberta Insurance Council has created two post-secondary scholarships for Alberta university students. The $2,000 awards will go to students in the insurance program at Grant MacEwan University and the University of Calgary. One student at each school will receive the AIC Leadership Award each year. "We are very pleased to announce the establishment of the AIC Leadership Award in our 20th year. It is important the AIC reach out in the community and provide these scholarships to those who plan a career in the insurance industry," Joanne Abram, CEO of the Alberta Insurance Council, said in announcing the new scholarships.
