The two-day event, to be hosted at the OneEleven office at 325 Front St. W, is aimed at developing technology-based solutions to mitigate the impact of natural disasters on cities.

“Insurance claims can peak as a result of natural disasters, which underlines the importance of reducing exposure on personal property, the city, and more importantly, on personal and family safety,” Ben Isotta-Riches, Aviva Canada’s chief information officer, said in a statement.
