90 percent of UK drivers don’t know what double yellow lines mean: Aviva

Just two survey respondents knew all the rules of the road

When surveying 1,500 UK drivers about their knowledge of road rule, Aviva UK found just two drivers could answer all 15 questions correctly.

A third of respondents didn’t know national speed limits, 90 percent didn’t know what double yellow lines meant and 35 percent couldn’t identify the one-way traffic sign.

But four fifths of respondents considered themselves to be safe drivers.
