Insurance Institute Annual Industry Trends Breakfast

The Insurance Institute held its Annual Industry Trends Breakfast at the National Club in Toronto. Philip Cook, CEO of Omega Insurance Holdings, was back once again to discuss how accurate his predictions were for 2011, and where the industry is headed in 2012. Cook expects capital strength and retention to be the biggest issues for insurers this year. As well, he predicted that the hard market was still years away, and there would be more consolidations in 2012.
