The Broad Forms emerge victorious at IIBC’s Battle of the Bands

Event raised $10,364 for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre

It’s a long way to the top if you want to rock ’n’ roll—but the Broad Forms have made it.

The band took home top honours at the Insurance Institute of British Columbia’s annual Battle of the Bands, held at the Blarney Stone Gastown in Vancouver. The sold-out event helped raise $10,364 for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.

The Broad Forms feature members of Willis Towers Watson, Liberty Underwriters, JLT Canada, AIG Insurance and GNK Insurance. They squared off against Warehouse Dogs (ICBC), Spillionaires (Pacific Coast Fishermen’s Mutual Marine Insurance) and One Man Down (Peninsula Adjusters). The evening was kicked off by opening act Crystal Kelly (RSA Canada).

Congratulations to everyone involved on supporting a great cause! And be sure to check out all the photos from the event at the Insurance Institute of BC’s Flickr page.
